Join us for an engaging evening of books, conversation, and connection at the Cardiff Young Professionals Book Club.

This monthly event is designed for young professionals who love to read, discuss ideas, and meet like-minded people in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Whether you prefer a physical book, e-book, or audiobook, you can read however suits you best.

Our book selections are carefully chosen to spark thought-provoking discussions and introduce a variety of genres, ensuring something new and exciting each month.

📖 June’s Book: Hello, Beautiful by Ann Napolitano

For our June session, we’ll be reading Hello, Beautiful by Ann Napolitano – a poignant and deeply moving novel about love, family, and the enduring power of connection.

Centred around William Waters and the emotionally complex Padavano sisters, this modern homage to Little Women explores how past wounds

shape our futures and how forgiveness can open the door to healing. Expect an evening of heartfelt discussions, emotional revelations, and reflections on the bonds that define us.

How Our Book Club Works

💡 Step 1: Read the Book – Or as much as you can! If you don’t finish, you can still come along – but we do discuss the ending and you will hear some spoilers.

💬 Step 2: Get the Discussion Topics – A few days before, we’ll send questions and themes to think about. No tests, no homework – this is just a way to make discussions smoother and more fun by giving you the opportunity to reflect on some points beforehand.

🤝 Step 3: Come along – Whether you love sharing your thoughts or prefer to just listen, there’s no right or wrong way to join in. It’s all about good books, great discussions, and meeting like-minded people.
